We find Katie:
In early November 2011, after a very long search (almost daily on Yacht World) Paul has found a 1988 Corbin 39 centre cockpit. It does not take long for us to make the arrangements to drive north to Superior Wisconsin (Barker Island Marina). In the bitter cold we climb the ladder and inside a fairly elaborately built cover. Once inside it is evident that "Katie" is a well built vessel. We instantly feel at home as we tour fore and aft. She has 2 cabins, both with large berths and good storage (this is a must for visiting family and friends). The galley is roomy and spans from port to starboard. We are delighted to see the quality of workmanship. We learn that Katie had been the dream of a couple from New Brunswick who lovingly completed her interior and then sailed her for many years in the Carribean.
